Cruelty Free Wide Fit Summer Shoes

The sun has finally got its hat on,which can only mean one thing-sandals and summer footwear. Here are my picks of the best cruelty free, vegan footwear available this season. Where possible I'm favouring wide fit styles which wont crush my rather chubby feet.Style, Comfort and Kindness-what a lovely fashion cocktail.

Birkenstocks Madrid £19.99 Buy Here
Birkenstocks are such a summer staple and lots of their styles are vegan. These white Madrid's are going to look great with a coral pedi and a tan. Kind to the animals too-win/win.

Fashion Conscience Crossover Sandals £35 Buy Here
Fashion Conscience is such a great store for all things ethically chic. They curate some really beautiful clothes and shoes and these stylish sandals look so high end but are incredibly affordable. This brand is great if you are keen that your shoes are made in an ethically way as well as being vegan.
Heavenly Jewelled T-Bar Sandals £35 Buy Here
These jewelled sandals are giving me some serious Arabian nights vibes and I love it. These would look so good with a floaty maxi dress or simple white linen trousers.

Sole Diva Block Heel Sandal £38 Buy Here
Sometimes you need sandals that will work in a more fashionable setting. These heeled tanned gladiators are throwing off all kinds of Westwood vibes but are under £40 and vegan. Perfect.

Espirit White Canvas Trainers £45 Buy here
Espirit have a fairly decent Vegan shoe section-great for footwear staples like ballerina pumps and one of my summer faves, the white trainer. Nothing looks cooler than box fresh white pumps when the sun is shining.

New Look Black Suedette Wedge £24.99 Buy Here
When looking for vegan shoes, check the materials. Words like "suedette" and "other materials" usually mean the shoe only contains man made materials. Case in point these lovely wedges by New Look. Wide fit and vegan friendly-hurrah!
Anna Field Espadrilles £11 Buy Here
Summer wouldn't be summer without some espadrilles and capri pants. These stripy numbers by Anna Field are going to look so good with a Breton top.

Santorini Sandal By Vegetarian Shoes £44.95 Buy Here
This UK based brand make some really great vegetarian shoes. Nicky Rockets brought a brilliant pair of trainers from them recently and the quality is great. These silver Santorinis are not only comfortable but also made within the EU in factories that are run ethically too. And we like that.

So there you have it. My round up of the cutest cruelty free footwear in the stores this summer. Please note that apart from the brands that are specifically marketed as vegan (in this case Espirit, Vegetarian shoes and Conscious fashion) I am using the information provided in the materials information. If you are aware of anything that makes any of these styles not safe for vegans please leave a comment. Similarly, aside from vegetarian shoes and conscious fashion the other styles are not necessarily made in an ethical way so if this is important you may need to do some more research.
May your feet feel loved and the animals too.
