Lovedrobe S/S Collection

Last week I was very lucky to be asked to spend a day with the brand Lovedrobe at a gorgeous little members club at Media City in Manchester.

Along with some other lovely bloggers I was treated to an afternoon of pink fizz, canapes and the chance to try on  all the new looks. Not a bad way to spend a Friday afternoon.

The prints and fabrics were as you would expect for Spring light, colourful and bursting with print. Japanese inspired daisy's and florals featured heavily (which I loved) as well as lots of bright pinks, blues and some light monochrome pieces. Here is my edit from the current collection.

This was hands down one of my favourite dresses of the day. Its in that great shift dress shape that Lovedrobe do so well and the fabric felt well made. The print looks vaguely oriental (this comes in white as well which is equally good)
I found the sizing on the shift dresses ran small so this is the size 24/26

Quite a few of us bloggers tried this dress on and it looked amazing on everyone. I'm not usually a fan of a shirt dress as with my big bust and small shoulders they usually swamp me. This really worked though, I think because its in a light floaty material and has a tie waist. The print is absolute cracking too.

I really liked how Lovedrobe have used lots of black and white in this collection but it still feels light and fresh. This simple shift dress looked really cute with leggings and ballet pumps and is perfect for the transition from winter cover ups to something slightly more summery.

I'm not doing this dress justice in this picture as it was so cute on. The coral colour is really flattering against the skin and I felt super girly in it. The lace detailing on the top and arms is gorgeous. yet again this ran small so I'm wearing the next size up.

This was hands down my pick of the day. I just love the shape and the weight of the fabric. The darts in the skirt mean it isn't cradling my VBO too much and it has a zip down the back which goes to the bum which I love. It also comes in black if shocking pink isn't for you.I ended up taking this home and have worn it already.I did have to size up once in this style.

After what has seemed like the longest winter ever it's so lovely to be looking at spring clothes. Does any of this collection tickle your pickle?
Massive thanks to the very lovely Rosie from A Rose Like This who took all these photos. She is such a lovely person and an amazing blogger and youtuber too.If you don't already follow her get on it!

I filmed the event as part of my weekly vlog. Which you can view here
