Gemma Collins Cannes Dress-My Plus size Christmas party dress guide

There are few things in life that make me happier than being able to dress up in beautiful frocks so the Christmas party season is just one of my favourite times in the fashion calendar.

Finding the perfect outfit for the works do, festive lunch or drinks party is always an opportunity to ramp the glamour setting up to a hundred and fully indulge all things sparkly and glam.
Over the next week I will be bringing you my pick of some gorgeous plus size party dresses out at the moment.Its a tough job but someone has to do it.

A LBD with extra sparkle

I kick off with one of my fave brands for embellished body con Gemma Collins. This is the Cannes dress and its perfect if you are after a LBD but want something slightly sparkly to make it Christmas party worthy.
The shape is semi fitted and in a thick enough scuba type fabric that it doesn't show too much of you visible belly line (an area that I know some of you get self conscious about) I have worn this with some shapewear as I felt it looked a bit smoother but it was perfectly nice without.

It hits just above the knee and feels very sophisticated and slightly Audrey Hepburn.
The standout feature of this dress though is the off the shoulder straps which are heavily embellished.

The sweetheart neckline makes it look sexy but not too much, this is cocktail dress glamour at its finest.It feels sexy but isn't revealing. I love that it shows off my shoulders.

I have worn this with my sparkly heeled shoes by Yours and a little vintage clutch. Hair is in its standard messy beehive and I'm ready to party.
