Dolly and Dotty

If ever there was a perfect time to wear a red gingham swing dress with matching belt and hair bow then Christmas is it.

This fabulous swing dress is by a fairly new company called Dolly and Dotty (what a cool name) and I couldn't love it more.
Some clothes instantly make you feel you are inhabiting another life or era and this is one of those. Its such a nice shape and feels very well made, I especially love the matching belt-adorable.

As soon as I put this on I felt I was in an old fashioned Christmas movie, being serenaded by Bing Crosby, its slightly nostalgic and very pretty (and at £23 very affordable)
Fit wise this is a size 20 and it is spot on. It looks a bit tight across the chest on these pictures but that's down to me wearing the wrong bra, its actually generously cut and very comfortable.

I felt so festive in this dress I decided to go full kitsch and get Mister Truffles in on the action in a classic old fashioned Christmas card pose.
He loved it although he did fall asleep while we were taking the pictures. That boy lives for cuddles.
