Plus Size Festive Outfit Ideas

Its that time of year, your wardrobe needs to cover a lot of ground, its not just a case of getting one party frock, you have got work lunches, family entertaining, cocktails with friends. They all require something special but no one outfit works for everything. With this in mind  I've put together five outfits to help you glide through the holidays looking fabulous. All in plus sizes of course.

Works Lunch
If you work at a small firm your Christmas celebrations may be a chic lunch rather than a big party. These often take place after a morning in work and outfits which can take you from a meeting to a menu are often tricky. This is where I always find a fairly simple silhouette using gorgeous fabrics works so well. Take off your suit jacket, replace your flats with heels and you are ready to go.

Christmas Cocktails
Meeting up with friends for an evening of cocktails and dancing is surely one of the highlights of the festivities. Its also a chance to really get your fashion on with an outfit that you know your mates will love but perhaps isn't quite suitable for visiting the relatives in.A red cape dress and Lady Luck bag will go perfectly with your Cosmopolitan.

The Red Carpet/Black Tie Event
Red carpet glamour is such a good excuse to ramp up the glam setting to maximum power and really it doesnt get better than a floor length slashed to the thigh sequin dress. I'm adoring this one by Lovedrobe-fat Liz Hurley vibes all the way baby.

Christmas Day
We all like to wear something special on Christmas day but its worth remembering that we may spend a lot of it cooking, sitting around and/or sitting in cars as we visit people. With this in mind I always choose something festive but comfortable. I wear flats rather than heels.Yes I'm wearing a pretty dress the colour of a chocolate wrapper but its one which allows me to make a complete pig of myself without having to undo my top button. Also can we discuss how awesome this bag is-swoon.

Boxing Day Walk
After  a few days of eating drinking and being merry its so nice to go on  a big long walk and blow away the cobwebs. If this is with family you might still want to make an effort but you have probably had enough of anything fitted or structured. These sequin leggings are so perfect for this kind of outfit. Worn with a sheer top and cost warp the biker boots give it an edgier more relaxed
feel but its still definitely celebratory. Also its an excuse to wear sequin pants which is always a good thing in my world.
