Hermeline Woodland Animal Dress by Tiger Milly A review

Early November is one of the most colourful seasons near where I live. The trees look almost on fire they are so orange and as they start to shed there is a carpet of orange everywhere, its beautiful.
The dress I'm bringing you today feels like it was made for this backdrop. The Hermeline Woodland Animal Dress by Tiger Milly features the most adorable woodland print with rabbits , foxes and birds scampering through roses and shrubs. It should be twee but the colour palette makes it feel more folksy and the black background settles the print.

Its designed by Hell Bunny who are amongst my favourite brand for vintage inspired dresses, not just because they offer so many different prints and styles but because their sizing and cuts always work really well on plus size figures.

This is no different and I found the size 20 fitted like a dream As you can see it hits me almost mid calf but I am small so would be knee length if you are of average height.

How adorable is this print
Now as you know I am quite comfortable changing things around if I feel a certain look or shape works better and this dress is actually on back to front. I did this on purpose as I didn't really like it worn with the higher neck as it made me look like I had a shelf of boob. You can see from the product shot below it does have a lovely black velvet bow detail  if you wear it the right way round, what can I tell you, I just heart a sweetheart neckline.

As always its great to wear a plus size vintage dress which features longer arms. I find halter necks really uncomfortable so this is perfect for me and yet again the sizing is just right, often I find arms on these kind of dresses a bit on the nippy size but not here.

Plus size vintage inspired style
