Debenhams Flowers by post -A Review

I love to receive flowers and also often like to send a bouquet.When sending flowers locally I always use my two favorite florists but as my family are dotted around Nottinghamshire and South wales I do have to use national companies when sending floral treats outside of Wirral.

So I was very happy when Debenhams got in touch to tell me about their Flower Delivery  

They are offering a Flowers by post service which means the flowers arrive in a box. Sounds a bit strange but its actually  an ideal choice if you want to send flowers to someone  you know may not be in to receive them or delivered to someones place of work with minimum fuss. Debenhams also do a traditional next day bouquet service as well.

The choices on offer from Debenhams were really breathtaking. The prices are very reasonable too. I spent £40 recently with a well known brand on a bouquet for someone and when I saw what they had received it wasn't great, loads of carnations as fillers and very few of the old fashioned flowers I had specified so I was impressed at Debenhams variety and creativity on offer for under £50.

I chose the "Designer Red Sky" bouquet. It contains Grand prix Roses which were in my wedding bouquet. I had a really awful wedding anniversary this year as Nicky fell very ill on it so I have been looking for a way to remember my anniversary  which doesn't involve hospitals and scary ambulance rides and this choice seemed perfect to help think about it in a nice way again.

My flowers arrived in a large black cardboard box and I was skeptical as to how fresh the bouquet would be but I needn't have worried as it was absolutely beautiful and as you can see exactly like the picture I chose it from.

The flowers look and smell beautiful. They are now in my sitting room looking absolutely splendid and have made my weekend so thanks very much Debenhams, I would definitely use your service again.
