The Curve Fashion Festival-Its nearly time

This morning if you happened to be watching Lorraine you may have caught Tess Holliday plus size model extraordinaie talking about attending Curve Fashion Festival. You know an event is going to be pretty darn cool when the queen of morning telly and the founder of the  "Eff your beauty standards" movement are chatting about it and I for one couldn't be more excited.

Its taking place on Saturday (yep this Saturday the 26th  of September) at Manchester Central  (formerly known as the G-Mex)
It starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm and if that sounds like a long day well believe me, you will need it to take in all the plus size awesomeness taking place under one roof.
Queen Tess will be there

There are catwalk shows with brands including New Look, Boohoo and Asos showing off their latest collections, stands for everyone from Curvy Kate to Simply be and loads of indie designers (Nicky Rockets will be there)

Plus size catwalk shows galore

There are also some really fantastic sounding seminars, Nicolette Mason talking about blogging, Tess Holliday panelling a discussion on plus size women in the  media, meet and greets with the likes of Hayley Hasselhoff, Champagne bars, afternoon tea, you can even get your nails done. This is plus size eventing as it should be done. No expense spared, high fashion, high production values and more plus size fashion than you can shake a stick at.

Uber Blogger Nicole Mason will be sharing her wisdom

I'm obviously really interested to see what brands like Elvi, and Asos, Lovedrobe Scarlett and Jo and Evans are showing in the main fashion hall but I'm also really excited to check out the smaller indie brands who will be exhibiting in the Exchange hall. There will be pop up shops, new designers showing their vision of plus size fashion as well as some of those much loved small UK plus size labels like Topsey Curvy, Apples and pears and State of mind.

Its going to be so great to see the smaller brands attending

As I mentioned Nicky Rockets will be there in the Exchange Hall-keep a eye out on his twitter feed for the exact location. We will be bringing our latest Halloween tee, lots of our most popular designs (all available in up to a 5XL) as well as our new Curvy as hell hats and briefs-yup hats and knickers will be our contribution along with lots of lots ass tees. We will also be doing a great giveaway if you sign up to our newsletter so make sure you swing on by.
