Plus Size Wishlist-The Best of the sales

Plus size clothing is often way more expensive than "regular" size clothes which is why I love the sales so much, especially the summer sales. Sunny days are a nightmare for retailers so they often reduce stock massively, and if you are a shrewd fat fashionista you can have your plus size A/W fashion wardrobe licked for a fraction of the price. Here are my faves.

I adore a bit of masculine tailoring, especially when you add lots of red lipstick and statement jewelry. These Culottes will look great with either a shirt for work or a slogan tee and trainers for casual days.

I've been lucky enough to attend a few A/W 15 preview shows and this colour palette is going to be huge, making this dress the perfect buy for the fashion conscious plussie. Its so perfect for autumn and you know you will wear it again and again with long cardigans and gillets. Love it.

This kind of dress is  a life saver on those mornings where everything looks a bit meh. Simple, comfortable but with a few well chosen accessories very cool and edgy too.

I have a similar skirt to this and have worn it so much. Its just a great staple to put with everything from simple jersey tees to elaborate bat winged tops. I worried before buying mine that my VBO would look like an apple in cling film but the thick PU fabric puts paid to that and all you are left with is being a sexy bitch in a faux leather skirt.

Ok this isn't the steal of the century but its such an amazing dress and would work beautifully as a great party dress or wedding outfit-who am I kidding I would wear it to the supermarket, its amazing!

Ripped skinny jeans are a trend that looks set to continue and having a great pair of black trousers (that aren't leggings or jeggings) is going to make digging out jumpers and long sleeves shirts so much easier. Great with ballet flats and a striped Breton top but equally lovely on a night out with heels and a cute kimono.

Burnt orange is set to be such a key colour in the new season and this dress with its mesh detailing and cute trapeze shape would look amazing with leggings or thick tights. 

So those are my picks of the summer sales. Who says looking great has to cost a fortune.
