Curvissa Pleated Occasion dress-A review

Last month I sadly missed Style XL due to awful traffic on the M6 (6 hours on the motorway booo) as well as being disappointed that I missed such a great event I also didn't get to give this lovely dress from Curvissa a spin. Its too nice not to get an outing so here it is. This is such nice take on a Plus size prom dress.Feminine, pretty but very wearable especially with a cardigan and ballet pump style shoes.

How pretty is this pleated occasion dress by Curvissa

Its described as a  pleated occasion dress and whilst it certainly is lovely enough to wear on a night out or to a party I have actually had a lot of wear out of it for daytime. 

What really makes this dress sing for me is the colour. It is such a beautiful shade which  I am always drawn to. I especially love clashing it with bright pink lipstick and accessories.

I really like the cowl neck which is a nice change from the sweetheart necklines you tend to get with this style  and the attached black bow belt which breaks up the block colour in  a very chic way. The pleated skirt gives  a lovely girly feel to the outfit and the stretchy underskirt protects your modesty.

I love the cut of this dress, its very comfortable and the length is hitting around mid calf

 I'm wearing a size 20 dress here and it is very true to size, it has lots of stretch and feels very comfortable especially around the arms and waist.

Looking ahead to some exciting blogging times

My blogging has been quite sporadic recently. August is always tricky anyway due to it being the summer holidays and needing to perform mama Bear duties but its been doubly busy due to Nicky Rockets being poorly. Life does feel like its slowly returning back to normal though and I have some lovely outfits to blog for you so thank you for sticking with me, I do appreciate it.
