Silly Old Sea Dog

I've been aware of the brand Silly Old Sea Dog for a while. They make the most beautiful plus size vintage inspired dresses in sizes 6-28 in really quite amazing fabrics.
Not only do I love the fact that they offer all their plus size retro dresses in such a good size range but they also produce all their designs in the UK. Fifties inspired loveliness without any scary slave labour implications-bravo!

I was asked if I would like to review something from their collection and immediately fell in love with the 1950's Style Pink cat dress it's kitsch, cute and long enough that you can wear it with or without a petticoat-perfect.

I ordered in a size 20 and have to say the sizing is really generous especially across the bust. This is so nice as often this style of dress flatten my boobs or cuts under the arms but not with this one.
I have styled it with my Boohoo wedges, a cardigan from Katherine's closet and a belt from Primark. My bag is by Vivienne Westwood

Typically its been cracking the flags all day but as soon as I go to take any photographs the heavens opened. The glamorous life of  a blogger, standing in the rain being photographed whilst passers by put up their anorak hoods and shake their heads at you as if you are bonkers.I'm such a pro.

I am so in love with this print, its just amazing. The dark and light pink with the grey and white are so pretty and I love that I am basically covered in kittys (my idea of heaven)
The shape of this plus size retro dress works so well on my figure, gently nipped at the waist with soft pleating on the skirt its comfortable yet looks really beautifully made (which of course it is)

The price point of these dresses is at the higher end for plus size vintage dresses but for a really special and ethically sourced plus size dress if you can afford it definitely take a look.
