Which has made the opening of Love Stitch a beautiful haberdashery shop in Heswall so welcome. It is a twinkly little jewel of a shop. nestled in a cute courtyard bursting at the seams with the very best in fabric, sewing supplies, wools and everything else you could possibly need for your sewing and craft projects.

Its such a pretty shop, and runs regular workshops so it made perfect sense to also start to offer afternoon teas and as you would expect from such a gorgeous venue they are fabulous.

| Finally I have arrived-I am cutting a ribbon |
Last week I was asked along in my capacity as a blogger and writer of craft books to cut the ribbon when they launched the afternoon tea service and sharing this honour was the brilliant Paul Clarke who was one of the runners up in the Great British Sewing Bee.

Paul was one of my favourite contestants on the GBSB after making a children's elephant ballerina costume in the second episode. Funny, quirky and beautifully made it was brilliant so it was such an honour to cut the ribbon with him.

Once the speeches had been made the lovely Sue who owns Love Stitch provided a beautiful afternoon tea for everyone and it was a delicious afternoon of chat, cake, tea and OK the odd glass of fizz.

I wore my Pheobe Red lips dress by Lady Volup as it seemed to match the shops logo and general feel and it felt absolutely perfect as I sipped tea out of a pink china cup.

If you are looking for a beautiful spot for tea and cake I couldn't recommend it more and of course all you avid crafters should definitely pop along.
