GI Betty: A review of the Polly Grace Willow top

As a plus size fashion blogger I buy and also get sent a lot of clothes to review. You would think this would mean I paid little to no attention to how versatile a piece is but actually despite the fast nature of trends and styles I love it when I find an item that I can wear again and again.

I reviewed the Eve trousers for new plus size brand Polly Grace a few weeks with their Chloe vest and Roxanne kimono and absolutely fell in love with them. Since them I have worn them again and again, they are the perfect fit, great shape and have pockets-they rock.

Dressed up or down the Eve trousers are fabulous.

I originally posted about them wearing heels for a fairly dressed up look but today I'm wearing them with a fab camouflage print Tee shirt also by Polly Grace and as you can see have gone for a very dressed down GI Jane type vibe. I am having a busy day, lots of writing and freelance work along with my usual mama bear type activities so I want comfort and a bit of fun and this tee shirt definitely offers both (and I feel like an off duty military bad ass which I love)

Plus size babe reporting for duty

I have always had a soft spot for camouflage prints and the willow teeshirt has a lovely light design which I really like. The shape is also perfect for me. I carry a lot of weight around my tummy and like that this tee is fairly long and semi fitted. It shows my shape off without being too clingy and looks perfect with trousers. I've also worn this tee with leggings and a tube skirt and it looked equally good. It's a great little buy at £16.

We can do it

I'm wearing my sketcher SKX trainers which are such a good trainer-they are like wearing slippers and a bandanna to keep my hair out of my face. I look like I should be off to something really practical like fix a chevy or help out in a munitions factory but I'm actually working on a magazine article deadline-hardcore.
