ready for some plus size fashion inspiration |
Not only was Lorraine Kellys collection featured but I also got a chance to look at the latest offerings by Simply be and The Mark Heyes collection both of which were beautiful.
I just adored this coat-Bring me the puppies |
Simply bes new collection was really good. I absolutely fell in love with a big fur coat which had more than a hint of Cruella De Ville and a tan coat with faux fur collar. Sure it was teetering dangerously close to Del Boy territory but I still need it in my life.

The boho theme is still strong and I was also quite taken with a brown suede style button down skirt. I'm thinking fat Velma from Scooby Doo chic.

The Mark Heyes Ava collection also featured some beautiful pieces.
My absolute fave was a suede style sleeveless bomber jacket with a fur collar which jipped up. Seeing clothes like this available up to a size 32 makes me so incredibly happy.
Apologies for the poor quality picture but how good is this-Bravo Mark Heyes |
Another piece I adored was a brown and black print dress which will be so beautiful for Autumn.
I loved the cut and pattern of this dress |
I had a chance to catch up with Mark (you may recognise him from his regular stint as stylist on the Lorraine show) and he was absolutely lovely. He is so animated and passionate about design and committed to creating fashion forward clothes which work on all shapes and sizes

How good is this faux fur coat |
Also at the event was cricketer Freddie Flintoff as he represents Jacamo, seemed rude not to chat to him.
Back to Lorraine and she was absolutely charm personified, down to earth, funny and really invested in the idea of providing beautiful designs in a great range of sizes.
Her collection featured some incredibly stylish wardrobe staples such as a lovely mac, crisp white shirts and one block colour dresses but also had some beautifully vibrant quirky pieces including my stand out design of the day hands down the rainbow block dress Lorraine wore.

I was also rather taken with a cheeky leather belted coat with biker styling-who knew Lorraine had this in her!
The new collection is due to be released soon so keep checking the Lorraine page
If this is a taste of things to come I am very excited about A/W 2015
Thanks to Mrs Bebe for letting me use some of her pictures in this post.
