The weather here in West Kirby has been absolutely glorious over the last week. Perfect for me to try one of favorite plus size trends this season-boho bohemian.

This entire outfit is by Simply be and its just absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful plus size fashion deserves a beautiful setting and luckily there is the perfect beach just at the bottom of my street-how blessed am I.

Loving life on the wirral

Having spent many years avoiding Maxi dresses because I worried they made me look "too big" I am now happy to be at the stage where I can see that it doesn't matter if this dress is loose and free because this tile print kaftan dress is just lovely and features a delicious print shot through with cobalt and orange.I think I have reached fashion serenity-its a happy place.
The sizing on this dress of dreams is spot on, elasticated under the bias so perfect if you are big of bust. I'm wearing the size 20 here and its cool and very comfortable without looking like a duvet cover.

Fun fur for fun beach times

My absolute must have item this spring has been this blue faux fur gillet I wore it a few weeks ago on another outfit post and it has rarely been off my slopey little shoulders. Its so perfect with this dress and gives it a great 1970's vibes.Yet again I have gone for my usual size and its a great fit.

Loving this trilby

You know how I love me a hat so this Aztec Trilby is very welcome on my sand blown hair.I always feel so much happier in a jaunty hat-its the poser in me I think.

Upcycled earrings of loveliness

I have to show you these beautiful earrings made by one of my fave indie brands 1of 1 design  they are silver antlers and so delicate and pretty. They are also made from recycled materials too-cute and environmentally sound-boom!

Plus size summer fashion

I'm finishing this look with some cool gladiator sandals, always my sandal of choice. This pair do run a little tight around teh ankle straps but I have chubby little feet so see how you get on.
Today was one of those days when being a blogger was such a joy. Spending a few hours hanging on the beach with my little dog, soaking up the rays in a pretty dress and a daft hat-good times.
