This year we are taking my Nicky Rockets brand on the road to a few plus size events including next months Curvy Convention
The Curvy Convention is a fabulous event celebrating the fuller figure, with everything plus size in one convenient location.
The convention is taking place on Saturday 16th May 2015 from 11am - 9pm, at the beautiful St Mary's Bryanston Square, Wyndham Place, York Street, London W1H 1PQ, a fab spacious venue with tons for rom for shows, workshops, stands and most importantly of all it's wheelchair accessible.

The Curvy Convention is a real celebration of fat fashion and includes The Real British Plus Size Fashion Show, showing a true representation of plus size women walking on the catwalk alongside professional plus size models. Pieces from my own Nicky Rockets collection are among the brands being featured-I am so excited.

The Curvy Convention will also be the ultimate curvy shopping experience, with an array of plus size designers, retailers, e-tailers, brands, workshops and beauty treatments available and much more!
There will be plenty of competitions, model scouts, freebies, a variety of new and established plus size brands and perhaps even some surprise celebrity appearances! Exciting!

Amazing Workshops
There will be a selection workshops that are free to take part in, and they are just asking for donations on the day towards the much deserving Alzheimer’s Society. This is a fantastic chance to get involved in a Burlesque workshop with the famous Fabia Cerra, who will introduce you to the wonderful world of burlesque, or perhaps try some mind-cleansing Curvesome Yoga, or get your groove on with some 80's disco themed low/med impact aerobics. The workshops will take place in the downstairs hall, and are also available to book on the Curvy Convention website. You can even have a mini Tarot reading if you fancy it!
There will also be a very reasonably priced snack bar in the venue on the day where you can grab a coffee and lunch with your friends, hot and cold snacks will be available. Yes, they really have thought of everything, so don't miss out on a fab opportunity to embrace this body positive event. What more could you want?
