Bloggers Of Diversity For Scarlett And Jo

Earlier this month I was asked to take part in a photoshoot for the Scarlett and Jo S/S range along with some other amazing plus size bloggers. It was a beautiful day.
Now I have seen all the finished photographs taken by the amazingly talented Nicky Rockets I am struck by what a wonderfully diverse bunch we are and whether that was by accident or design I hope if nothing else this becomes a new trend.

Bloggers of diversity

I adore that the women chosen are all different sizes, shapes, skin colours and  hair shades and straddle the age ranges from a perky 20 to a glorious 43 (yes that's me) how refreshing this is.

None of the dresses I wore are available yet but it looks like they are adding items from the photo shoot to the collection daily so I will keep you posted.
I loved the dresses I wore. Designed by Gifi Fields and Angela Gilby they are a masterclass in how a well cut dress, designed with a plus size body in mind can be a thing of grace, elegance and beauty.
In the meantime here are some of my favorite shots.

I really feel like I am coming into my own recently. As women we are taught to dread getting older. Nothing about being in your forties is meant to be good and yet I'm here to report it absolutely wonderful.

  1. Great post Hun. I love your final pictures! I was saying the exact same thing to friend about how diverse we are as a group and that even though we all look very different we each brig a different flavour to the outfits. It was such a great campaign to be a part of and so much fun to work with such great women. My new S&J sisters lol xx

  2. Totally agree with you about coming into your own in your forties. I am way more confident now, not just in how I look but in things I will get my body to do - I never would have had the guts to start weightlifting or roller derby a decade ago!

You look fantastic and the dresses are sublime. I especially love the floral prom dress.

  6. Do you know when the amazing daisy dress you're wearing in the first pic will be in stores? I'm assuming that's also an S&J frock?
