When I was little my mum would often recount how her friends dad once told her "you will make a beautiful skull" he was referring to her high cheekbones and we always thought it was the best and darkest compliment we had ever heard.
I mention this as I was wondering where my love of skull imagery comes from. I have black skull wallpaper in my lounge and pink butterfly skulls decorating my bedroom. Far from finding these depressing or evil I find them oddly life affirming.
Which brings me to today's outfit.

I have popped it on with my Kim pencil skirt £49 by The Curve and a cardigan from Tesco which is past season. This is a great way to wear a tee if you don't like jeans (which I really don't) or need to look slightly smarter but want to incorporate a little vagabond spirit.
