Tell Me About It..Stud: Ava Angel Gold Studded Skater Dress from Pink Clove

Some brands just seem to do certain styles really well. Pink Clove who I have long been a fan of (fast affordable UK made fashion, there is a lot to love) always create some of the seasons prettiest skater dresses and today's outfit illustrates this beautifully.

The Ava Angel Dress
How the dress looks on the website

The Ava Angel Gold Studded Skater Dress £20 is just so simple and yet also really glitzy. I adore it.
The stud design isn't metal its actually an embossed print delicately woven into the dress but the effect is one part motorcycle chic to two part's delicate gold polka dot. Its feminine but with an edge, chic but also playful.
Chic but playful-like me

The style is classic skater dress but details like the slim patent belt and well placed sleeves definitely take it out of the realm of something you would chuck on to wear to work.
I'm off out today for drinks with my bestie Lilly and we plan on going to a host of restaurants and bars so this outfit is perfect.

I have worn my Melissa flats and my arm candy is my Juicy Tiger handbag. My tiger necklace is from Topshop last season. I've picked out the frocks gold accents and although its not showing up on these pictures even have gold flecked eyeliner on. Well it is nearly Christmas.

*I never lie to you dear readers I was gifted this frock-the opinions however are my own*

  1. Hmm. I've looked at the Pink Clove, but worry their skater dresses might be a bit short for me? I have the old long body short legs syndrome..!

    1. Hi Charlotte yes you would probably need to put it with leggings but its so pretty worth a try.

  2. I love this dress but have the same concerns as Charlotte - I'm 5ft10 with freakishly long legs and skater dresses tend to show my bum! Such a shame as this dress would be a perfect office to the bar kind of dress!
