Fat Chick On The (colour) Block

The last few months have been a bit frantic for me. A perfect storm of school holidays (which for a freelancer just means doing your job whilst looking after your kiddywink)  starting a new job and Nicky Rockets exploding into tee shirt popularity has meant I am only just catching up with some of my scheduled outfit posts.
This dress was the one I wore at Plus North and I had meant to do a full outfit post from the event but it just didn't happen. 
Plus size brand So fabulous (available from Littlewoods) very kindly offered to sponsor me at the event and as well as walk for them in their catwalk show they also let me choose a frock to wear on the day.

I plumped for this gorgeous colour block print floral dress £21 I just adored the dip dye effect of the blue going into pink and the beautiful grey floral print.The  shape is so wearable and it includes sleeves-joy of joys.
At Plus North I teamed it with one of my fave shrugs by Simply be,a wide black belt by Evans and a flower garland in my hair. I felt super pretty but because I was so busy working at the Nicky Rockets stand and taking part in fashion shows I didn't take any pictures except the one in my hotel room. So here I am righting that wrong.

So fabulous isn't perhaps as well known as some other plus size brands which is a shame as it has some really cute affordable pieces and the sizing is brilliant (this frock goes from 14-32) They also have fab sales so good for  a fatty bargain.

Say my name, say my name

I had a necklace commissioned by Bete Niore for Plus North as wanted something suitably pink and girly to match my dress. Its absolutely perfect.Whats not to love about a pink glitter heart with roses on?

The venue at Plus North was rather warm so this dress was beautifully cool all day too. This time around Ive thrown on a pink PVC belt, matching bag and as a nod to autumn some tights. It still works and I still love it. Its so fabulous dahlink!
