I don't want to break free of this cage: Black Shift Dress by Asos Curve

New season-new fat fashion
I guess its now autumn. Raking the leaves from my lawn this week there was no denying all the golden brown colours and the slight nip in the air. The golden sunshine is making this such a glorious start to September as are all the lovely new season clothes.I always get a real "back to school" feeling at this time of year and that of course means I need a new wardrobe.

How the dress looks on the website

My  black shift dress with cage mesh design by Asos £40 is taking me into "fall" as the Americans call it very nicely indeed.

This is one cage I don't want to escape

This type of design is why Asos Curve are so beloved by plus size fashionistas. Its a shift dress but not just any shift dress. Its beautifully cut and true to size with plenty of room across the back and the top of the arms.

Perfect fit-beautiful design

its got a semi transparent outer fabric with the beautiful cage design on it and a shift underneath which is in a stretchy jersey. This is so welcome as often with these kind of two layered pieces the slip is on tight unforgiving satin which always feels like it might rip when you sit down and also makes you look a bit like a sausage.

Mister Truffles approves

I'm loving the chic black simplicity of this outfit. Ive worn it with some polka dot tights and these ankle boots by Yours which are last season but they do a very similar pair here

Hello Autumn you sexy bitch

Apart from a furry black handbag (which I brought from Debenhams many moons ago) and some bright green nail paint from Barry M I have kept my accessories down to  a minimum. I'm letting the frock do all the talking and I really like how it looks while I listen.
