Sci Fi Fatty: Cartoon dress from Yours

May the fatty force be with you

Today I'm off into Liverpool to pick up some goody bags from the Taking Shape store for my capturing the curve event.
Some of you may have seen this cartoon dress before. I brought it a few seasons ago and absolutely love it.Its by Yours and whilst this exact one isn't in stock any more they are doing this one which is virtually identical.

You know what it's like sometimes you wake up and want to look like Audrey Hepburn and sometimes you just want to get your inner geek on. Today I'm feeling nerdy in the best possible way.
Today is all about nerd chic

As well as my comic book dress I'm wearing my hair in a cartoonish beehive with a bandanna by Diablo Jo. I'm humming "Rock Lobster" by the B52's and hoping the Liverpool gale force wind whipping off the Mersey doesn't flatten my do.
Doctor Who Love

I'm also wearing my Doctor Who necklace which was a present from Lilly von Pink.Im a Whovian and proud. love me, love my Darlek fixation.
As its still rather chilly here on Merseyside Im wearing my trusty leggings and because the day has a Y in it a wide belt. My Jasper Conran pink bag seemed like the perfect choice for such a bright outfit.
Squinty eyes-It was quite early when these pictures were taken
This frock is such a great shape. Its a classic skater dress but isn't too short and I love the black mesh detail at the neckline. As I mentioned in my first review of it the material is  a bit on the polyester side but the wacky print more than makes up for it.
This dress always makes me feel fabulous

How amazing is this print
Because this dress hasn't got sleeves I'm wearing the second pair of Wingz I was sent (these are sleeves you can add to any outfit needing them-totally genius) this time its the lace ones. I just love these.

I've got Wingz
Finally on my feet are a fab pair of spotty pink shoes from Simply be My feet feel so pretty in these.Every shoe should include a fabric pom pom in my opinion.

How cute are these!
Yet again I didn't get the memo about fat girls needing to wear "flattering" outfits in dark "slimming colours" Forget that. I want my clothes to be fun, bright, playful and yes geeky.
I know as a fatty I should be crying whilst guilt eating pringles but I just haven't got time. Sorry (not sorry)
