Betty Bling Bling: Bling My Thing

I absolutely love anything that sparkles. When it comes to pretties I'm a ten year old girl trapped in the body of a fat middle aged woman,a plump little magpie swooping on anything that glitters from eye shadows to headbands and of course frocks.
So when the company Bling My Thing got in touch with me to see if I wanted to take part in a blogger style challenge I almost bit their hand off at the elbow.

On a side note I'm always slightly surprised when I'm asked to take part in "blogger" challenges. I think of professional bloggers as other worldly creatures who film vlogs in front of immaculate cream bedrooms festooned with fairy lights with glossy ombred hair, I'm more like Courtney Love (pre loosing the weight obviously, more early Hole than the people vs Larry Flynt) than Fleur de force but I digress.

"Bling my thing" is owned by Japanese Designer Ayano Kimura who apprently embellished an iPod with Swarovski crystals, as a one-of-a-kind gift, and unknowingly created a sensation and now it seems we want her to stick crystals on everything including i-phone covers which is what I was sent.

My challenge was to accessorize an outfit to match my Pure Bling Extravaganza phone case and when it arrived looking quite frankly like the Barbra Cartland of phone cases-gaudy and pink and awesome I knew what I had to do.

I'm wearing my Ice cream pocket rocket dress by Simply be which always makes me feel vaguely cartoonish and also makes my boobs look fabulous (yes I went there ladies I paid myself a big fat compliment-I love my decolletage and I'm not afraid to say this) 

I love this frock for many reasons including that it makes my boobs look awesome

To add to my Minnie Mouse on acid vibe I've stuck a sparkly hair bow in my wig and one of my favorite pink skull rings on my pudgy finger.

I'm also flaunting my "Lipstick Goddess" necklace which Lilly Von Pink gave me because I'm her best friend and she worships me (she will now kick my head in for saying that the little blue smurf)
