Pretty Cheap |
OK so the title of this post is slightly misleading I didn't actually shoplift this dress but it was so cheap it almost counts as steal.

Rose print loveliness |
I brought this fab rose print skater dress in the Primark sale earlier this week for the ridiculous price of £5. Yep a dress that cost me less than a starbucks.
I love rummaging around the shops at sale time but sometimes the discounts offered are a bit pathetic, not at Primarni which was unsurprisingly a total bargain fest.
Now the sizing at Primark is not always the glamorous fatties best friend. As far as I know it goes up to a size 22 although finding a 22 on the rails is akin to treading in rocking horse poo but there are always quite a lot of sizes 16-20 available. Squeezing myself into primark |
The fly in the cheapo Chardonnay is that depending on the style you will not be able to get into a lot of these plus sizes. Primark is almost the opposite of vanity sizing its tiny (probably to keep things cheap) so I find anything in a stretch fabric, cut on the bias, or a loose style is fine but fitted stuff tends to pinch the arms and be very tight around the boobies.
Thanks Christmas lurgy-you have allowed me to exploit the Primark sale |
Its only because I've been ill all over Christmas that I think I got into this frock comfortably (oh the irony fat bird actually gets thinner over the season of gluttony) but for now at least its a good fit.
Love the slightly vintage feel to this frock |
I love the cute slightly retro print and fifties inspired style of this dress. As with most skater skirts nowadays its a tad on the short side so I've teamed it with leggings and a pair of ballet flats I also got from Primark for £3.
Ready to work my make up magic |
I'm a Plussie Hussy |
Pow, pow-a whole lotta style for only five English pounds. I'm a thrifty stylish plussie hussy.
