Silver and black just always look great together |
Happy New Year everyone.
However you spent New Years Eve I hope you had a good one.
I had hoped to post this
outfit up a few days ago as my last New Years Eve pick but I’ve been really
unwell with a cough and cold so spent my own New Years eve under the duvet
swigging Night nurse (wasn’t quite what I had planned but never mind) so I’m a
little behind but hopefully you
will enjoy this frock anyway. I think you can tell by my face that I'm a bit under the weather at the moment but hopefully my sad eyes wont detract from such a lovely dress.

Soldering on in the name of plus size fashion |
As much as I love
embellishment on clothes I do like
the fact that the sparkly part of this dress is just at the top. It creates a
very flattering silhouette and makes the skull sequin design stand out even
more against the black.

How amazing is this sequin skull print |

Batty for batwing sleeves |
The style of this dress is
actually quite deco with its batwing sleeves and embellished monochrome design and I felt
quite Downton Abbey in it.

The neat little tie pulls in the waist |
The dress comes with a
waist tie which I think it definitely needs as it is a little shapeless without
it. The quality feels great and its all lined which is fab.

Black jet style jewelry really compliments this look |
 |
Jet woooooo |
I’ve worn my hair in a
side bun to add to the 1920’s feel and accessorized with a beautiful jet homage
necklace
and bracelet set by fashionworld.
I sometimes forget that Plus size
clothing brands do accessories but time and time again Fashionworld prove they
really do the nicest jewelry and shoes.

Side bun ahoy |
To compliment the silver
of the sequin design I’ve worn my silver heels from Simply be. I'm a vision in
silver and black with a rock n roll edge.
Happy New year.
