Its finally here-I am off on my holidays. I can’t tell you how excited this makes me feel and one of the most enjoyable parts (apart from lounging at the beach) is planning what to take.I just love the build up to a trip away. Buying magazines, stocking up on mini toiletries and downloading tons of books on my kindle.
This year I'm flying with evil Ryan air and have the luggage allowance of a small child so smart packing is the key. I'm a great believer that accessories can make any outfit special so before I pack I always plan each outfit down to the final detail. It means I only take what I need and know I can easily throw together a great outfit with no fuss. Here are my choices for my week away:
Paisley print tunic
I adore this green and blue paisley print tunic by Yours clothing. I'm planning to review it soon and its the perfect outfit to travel in. Doesn't crease, super comfortable but makes me feel very glam in a Liz Taylor in Cannes type stylee.
Matalan Yellow dress
I’ve had this frock for two years now and its been on a few holidays. Its so cool, pretty as a picture and weighs hardly anything at all. I always pack my bright yellow hair flower to compliment it and my fab Bow and crossbones Carmen fruit necklace.
They call me mellow yellow
I have the same dress in coral and am bringing it along too.My white hair flower and Bete Noire Tiki queen necklace turn this simple dress into a fab summer outfit.
Asos Curve skull print dress
I spied this a few weeks ago when I was holding my Asos voucher giveaway and had to make a wish list. It seems that sometimes I can make my own dreams come true as I decided to buy it for my holidays and I love it. Its very light, rolls into a tiny ball and feels as light as a feather on.My topshop skull necklace will look great with a slight tan. Perfect.
This is one of those frocks that has paid for itself about a hundred times over. Its from Sohos, is such a nice shape and looks great when the sun is shining. I'm taking my prettiest pink hair flower and "You're the one for me fatty" necklace. Sweet yes but with attitude.

I fell in love with this Layla two piece as soon as I saw it. Its cherry design is super retro and the high waisted briefs and halterneck top are fantastic. There is no denying that this has very little support in the boob area but with a design this cute I don’t care.
Panache Tallulah swimsuit
I was sent this swimsuit by Panache a while ago and to be honest wasn’t mad about the print but it does give great boob support so is very flattering and great for swimming in. Having cast it aside as not glam enough I’m now loving it.
Great boob support
Big Floppy Hat and Sarong
I avoid sunning my face at all costs. Nothing is more ageing than sun damage so I lather on the factor 50 and keep out of the rays under my big floppy hat. Ive also got this lovely sarong by Pepperberry this year which will be great to throw on when I need to get a drink (or take my daughter to the toilet, I'm a mum remember all lounging is interrupted every five minutes)
This looks rather odd, really
I'm taking my cute flamingo sandals from Primark to travel in and a pair of flipflops. Thats it. I always take too many pairs of shoes and never wear them so this year I'm being ruthless.
Yes only two pairs-It can be done
My red tote bag with a skull on is perfect for chucking in a towel, a kindle and sun cream.
Mcqueen homage bag-love this!
So thats this years holiday wardrobe. Hope you have enjoyed having a nosey. What items do you just have to pack when you go away?
