At our little pop up boutique for Curvissa at Plus London |
On Saturday myself and Lilly were invited to take the Vintage Pamperbox to an event called "Plus London" as guests of one of the events sponsors Curvissa.
We boarded an incredibly early train in Liverpool (6.48 is no time for a lady who wears false eyelashes to be ready for) and excitedly made our way to Hoxton where the event was taking place.

Its too early to be up and at them |
I have never been to Plus London before and it was a lovely event. Smaller and less fashion focused than Plus North it had a cute social gathering feel about it so the two events really compliment each other and it was the perfect place for us to ply our make up skills.
 |
Open for business |
Curvissa had created such a fab little area for us to work in, even providing a dressing table, rugs and bunting-they know how to make us smile and feel right at home.

Our super cute workspace |
 |
Ooh whose is that messy workstation-that would be mine-whoops |
Its fair to say we were absolutely run off our feet, styling plus size hotties from 11am-4.45 doing everything from victory rolls, beehives, french flicks, and using lots and lots of false eyelashes!

I wore my fave dress from Curvissa and was quite entertained that the same frock featured in a big poster which I had to stand next to all day.Hopefully it showed how it looked on a slightly older less statuesque lady (it is an awesome dress)

Hey that's my dress! |
Quite fittingly our final clients were the lovely girls who had organised Plus London. Here I am with the beautiful Lauren from Pocket Rocket (how cute does she look with a beehive!

With the lovely Lauren |
Sadly like Make up wielding Cinderellas me and Lilly had to catch the last train home so didn't get to go to the evening event which we were a bit sad about-I'm sure everyone had an great time.

And we are done! |
The Curvissa Team were so sweet they even organised our cab to the station-where we quickly chomped on some Dim Sum before heading home-oh the glamour.

Its all about the Dim sum baby |
One last little thing, on the day Simply be had an artist called Clym Evernded who was doing little quick sketches of everyone. He did on of me and here it is.

Clym you are a very clever man-thankyou |
I absolutely love it and plan to get it framed, its not everyday you get a mini portrait done.
Thanks so much to Curvissa and Plus London for inviting us.
Curvissa had a film crew doing mini interviews and pictures of the event so check out their blog over the next few days for lots more coverage.
