Wear It Your Way Style Challenge With BonPrix

Wearing it my way

I love to read "bloggers challenges" and see how different chicks  put their own stamp on the same item of clothing so when Bonprix asked if I would like to be involved in a 5 way review I jumped at the chance.
Black and white stripy dress by Bonprix

The item I was sent was this lovely black and white striped jersey midi dress

I absolutely adore anything with Breton styling so was very happy. Having long ago ditched the rule about fat chicks not wearing horizontal stripes there is quite a lot of the stripey stuff in my wardrobe.
Working the stripes baby

This dress is absolutely lovely. I was surprised at how much I liked it when it arrived.Having assumed it would work well as a basic everyday dress I quickly revised my opinion as its actually quite special.
The material is soft and light and yet doesn't particularly cling, it more skims the body.

I like how this skims the body rather than clings

A thin belt pulls it in at the waist

It's a simple shift style which looks pretty fab on its own. As usual though I added a belt to create some waist definition.

I love the longer length-perfect for autumn

The length if this dress is a lovely change. The trend of so many dresses being bottom skimmers makes wearing leggings almost essential so to get a frock that hits well below the knee is very welcome and perfect now the weather is getting colder.

cute zip detail on the shoulder

I really like the small zip detail on the one shoulder. It makes the dress look edgy and adds to the overall feel that this is well made and high quality even though its priced at just under £35.

Ooh la la

I've styled this with a high pony tail and a statement necklace. I wore it for a busy day of make up bookings and felt vaguely Audrey Hepburn in Roman holiday.

BonPrix I blow you a kiss

I'm really loving Bon prix this season and yet again they don't disappoint.
Take a look at how my fellow bloggers styled this frock.
