Lady Lumps In layers |
Tackling the changeable weather with clever layering |
Layering can be something that plus size hotties are unsure of, afraid that it will make then look bulky or lumpy but if done correctly it can be such a flattering look and a great way to play with fashion.
Extra Large=Extra Stylish |
The key is to choose your fabrics and cut carefully. Here I've got a lightweight Kimono sleeve cropped jumper by Bon Prix which I've worn over a long vest by Primark.
Lightweight fabrics are key to getting layers right |
I love the wide neck offering a flash of shoulder and that it ends just below my tummy. To counter balance the square shape of the jumper I've teamed it with a fitted jersey skirt also by Bon prix which with its fab floral pattern adds a nice flash of colour and hugs my curves without drawing too much attention to my Buddha belly.
A fitted jersey skirt compliments the baggy jumper |
Yet again playing with proportions I've put this with leggings and chunky boots, a great combination of girly and functional.
Girly but functional-great for a busy day |
Hair in a messy ponytail-relaxed easy dressing |

Autumn is such a great time to play around with clothing proportions, skater skirts over little vests with huge baggy cardigans, body con dresses with biker boots and hoodies,if you are stuck in "safe" mode with how you put things together have a riffle through your wardrobe and try a few different looks.Extra Large=Extra Stylish.
