Big Boobs In Boucle

Booby in boucle
I first laid eyes on this Boucle skater dress by Simply Be when Emma from Meet the Millards modelled it at Plus North.

With its almost tweedy effect fabric and 1950’s style I knew it would be the perfect dress to make the transition from warm summer days to chilly autumn ones and as Autumn has hit the Wirral with a vengeance over the last few days its arrived just in time.
The perfect dress for Autumn
I love the multi coloured flecks in the fabric as it means I can wear it with pretty much any accessories and it will match.

Today I'm picking out the lovely teal blue in the fabric with a cardigan from New look (which I've just knotted at the waist) and a fab wicker style bag I picked up in the gift shop when I went to centre Parcs at the weekend (yes I find shopping opportunities even in the forest)
My new bag-from the woods (kind of)

Today has been a busy day of work, a yoga class, taking my little girl to cheer leading practice and generally being very busy indeed so I needed an outfit that’s stylish but warm and easy to move in and this outfit has been just the ticket.
Stylish but comfortable-perfect
To make the dress look even more vintage inspired I’ve victory rolled my hair which has highlighted how badly I need to get my roots done-Its on the list this week I promise. As you can see due to this rather wet weather I'm doing my outfit posts in the pink kitchen again-its got the best light, normal garden pictures will resume once the rain stops.
A victory roll adds to the vintage flavour-just ignore the roots
One thing I must point out about this dress is that I have brought it in my usual size but it is a little bit snug around the boobies. It may be that I ate too much birthday cake at the weekend (celebrating Nicky Rockets big day) but I don’t think I've put any weight on so if you are on the cusp of a bigger size anyway I would recommend sizing up in this style.

I think sometimes people think my life is always quite glam and perfect so here is the reality-trying to take blog photos while my 7 year old serenades me with her recorder.
Playing her own tune-standard

Have you started eyeing heavier fabrics and more wintery colours yet or are you still clinging on to summer as long as you can?
