Pocket Rocket Fashion Blogger Dress

Pamper in Pocket Rocket

Its been really fantastic over the last year to see some of the plus size brands collaborating with blogger babes on collections.
I was particularly excited when I heard that Lauren from Pocket Rocket Fashion has worked with Simply be on a dress design.
I love Laurens style, edgy and cool but always pretty I'm often inspired by how she puts things together.

When I saw pictures of the dress she had designed I was even more excited it could have been designed with me in mind.
The "Pocket Rocket" dress features a sweetheart neck line, nipped in waist and is in the most adorable candy pink colour with yellow ice creams on it, If summer could be epitomised in a dress this would be it.

Here's what Lauren said about her design:
The three words I had in mind for this outfit were bright, kitsch and cute. I wanted to make a bit of a racket: something eye-catching and tongue-in-cheek that would turn heads. But, at the same time, it needed to be easy to wear no matter what your confidence level"

A dress designed with plus size hotties in mind.

Lauren you have definitely achieved that. I wore this dress on the hottest day of the year to help out at a children's birthday party and I felt fantastic.
Great sleeve length-I like my arm fat, please don't pinch it

The sleeves are a perfect length, ending just above the elbow and are also not too tight and the skirt hits just below the knee which is great as so often skater style frocks are a teeny bit too short.
A skater style dress which doesn't turn me into a knicker flasher-I approve

Its got a very flattering shape but is also incredibly comfortable, in fact you can tell its been designed by a sassy  curvaceous chick who has poured all her years of dressing a plus size body into the shape and cut.

The perfect shape for ladies with a lot of it

I've worn this without a belt so you can see the shape but think next time I wear it I will team it with a white thin patent belt to give my waist slightly more definition.
I've accompanied this dress of loveliness with my favourite new "You're the one for me fatty" necklace by Black Heart Creatives when I saw this cupcake designed neck candy immortalised with a line from a Smiths song it had to be mine. I love it especially the quizzical looks I get from people who don't get the reference.
You're the one for me fatty

I have Mozza close to my heart

A beautiful dress for a beautiful summers day

Congratulations Lauren and hurrah to Simply be for realising that if you want to know how to dress a fat girl, ask one!
