Viana Chiffon Dress: Mexican Skulls, Flamingos And Hanky Hems

In the pink
Today I'm enjoying a rare day off with my lovely family and we are going to the school fair so I wanted to wear something comfortable and summery.
I received this lovely hot pink Viana chiffon dress from Prodigy Red a while ago and have been waiting for a chance top wear it. Its my first attempt at wearing a hanky or dipped hem (the hem at the back is longer than at the front) and despite being a little dubious when it arrived  I really like it.

Dipping my toe in the "dipped hem" water
Sadly I cant see this dress on the plus size section of Prodigy Reds website so hopefully they will have it back in soon as at £14.99 its a little bargain.
As the dress is so simple I've made it slightly more edgy with my favourite new cardigan from Sohos. I was worried that the M/L sizing would be too tight but its actually great. Hurrah, no sausage arms.

Love me some Mexican skulls

A thin patent belt pulls this outfit together

Ive pulled the outfit together with a black patent belt, leggings and my lovely new flamingo gladiator sandles which were a gift from Lilly Von Pink.

Love my flamingo sandles

I adore them, they were from Primark apparently so Im sure wont have cost the earth. Sorry about the close up of my trotters, not massively attractive I know. Ive tried to dull the blow with Limecrimes Lavendairy on my toes.

Unicorn love

Keeping with the Limecrime theme I'm also wearing my unicorn necklace by the same brand. its glittery and features a unicorn. I love it.

Ready for bell ringing and Morris dancing-living on the edge kidders
My hair is in a  messy bun and my lipstick is Fluorescent countessa also by Limecrime-I feel there is theme here.
the sun is shining, get your gorgeously round body out there and soak up the rays. We will be back in jumpers next week.
