I had never heard of
Excite clothing until about a year ago and confess I didn’t even check out
their range until Becky from The ramblings of Mrs Bebe reviewed some of their
collection. Once I did I really loved their dress collection. I wear frocks
more than anything else and Excite have some really lovely styles and fabrics
all with quite a feminine girly feel, which is right up, my sartorial street. The pricing is really good too and allows me to indulge in the odd spree without getting that sinking feeling afterwards.
Cute inexpensive plus size frocks-we likey |
This summer I’ve been
wearing a few more fitted dresses and as soon as I saw this leopard
print midi dress I had to have it. At £12.99 its has to be the most
affordable summer dress I’ve seen for ages and the quality’s lovely. Nice scooped
neck and my favourite thing short sleeves which are nice and generous (I love
my arm fat, please don’t pinch it)
My belly is out in all its soft flabby post childbirth glory |
There is no avoiding the
fact that this is a very unforgiving style. My Buddha belly and saddlebags are
on full display. I have tidied up my silhouette with some magic knickers but if
you are apple shaped like me keep it in mind. I have long stopped trying to camouflage
my figure (I'm fat, get over it) but I know for some readers they simply feel too self-conscious when
things are quite fitted.
It is a fairly thick material though so no obvious VPL and it’s very,
very comfortable.
Sexy and comfortable |
I’ve teamed it with my “make
up whore” necklace and my fave Limecrime Pink Planet lipstick and a leopard print hair
bow
I feel very glam and summery and ready to enjoy this lovely blast of hot weather.
