Clements Ribeiro for Evans: Rock Lobster

I've fallen hard for this lobster
I fell very hard indeed for this Lobster print tunic dress by Clements Ribeiro for Evans when it first came out a few months ago and snapped it up (geddit) straight away. I've since worn it a lot but am only now getting around to reviewing it. The great news is that its now in the sale so if you like it its down to £25
I love clothes that have a pop culture element or are slightly irreverent and this tunic with its lobster print (the claws nipping at my Bristol's in a rather saucy fashion) ticks all my design boxes.
Nipping at my boobies

Perfect for busy days when I want to look cool but not too fussy

Its comfortable, cute and is absolutely ideal for throwing on for busy days when I'm juggling work and mama bear duties.
Comfortable and cute but not at all frumpy-bravo

I've worn this both with and without a belt and I realise the big belt (also by Evans but a few seasons ago)) crashes rather rudely over the print but for me  without something to pull the waist in I felt a little bit cube like and that will never do.
I know the belt goes over the design but I need to be nipped in  and not just by the lobster
Its exactly the same cut as the lip print dress by the same designers which I reviewed last month. Its got a great wide neck (although don't make my mistake and have ugly bra straps showing-you would think I hadn't been weaned on the Madonna school of bright bra strap flashing at all, I hang my crimped head in shame) its made of soft Jersey  and finishes just above the knee.
I would have loved this to be slightly longer
I would have probably preferred it to be slightly longer as I'm not  a fan of above the knee dresses simply because they ride up and I feel like I might be flashing my knickers. Luckily this style suits leggings perfectly (its very art teacher chic) so Ive just chucked on a pair from primark with some ballet flats.
My hair is in a messy bun with a leopard print zombie Marilyn Monroe clip in (as you do) and I've accessorised with a pink skull ring by Belinda's pretties and a necklace I picked up at a local jumble sale. It has just the right amount of eighties clunkiness to work.

Clothes should be fun and make you feel amazing, sure being plus size can make finding fashionable cool stuff a challenge but it can be done. Vive la fashionable fatties!
