Jackie O Inspired Loveliness OOTD

I begin this outfit post with a disclaimer.
I do not do this frock justice. It is so beautiful and I felt so wonderful in it and as occasionally happens what I saw when I looked in the mirror doesn't quite translate on camera.Trust me its a winner.
Anyhoo. I fell in love with this Coral Jacquard skater prom dress by Simply be as soon as I saw it.
How pretty is this colour
Its such a beautiful classic shape with a nipped in waist and a pretty full skirt with pleats which makes it feel really neat. Its sold as a prom frock and its certainly dressy enough to work as evening wear but as you can see worn with simple accessories its gorgeous for summer days.
The fabric of this dress is lovely

The fabric is lovely and this is the nearest I think I have ever got to having a brand new frock which felt "vintage" its a soft coral/pink Jacquard and feels so well made.
I wore this on a beautifully hot day to perform make up duties at a gorgeous wedding (hello Gemma if you are reading) and it suited both the weather and the occasion perfectly.

A simple white belt just finishes the outfit off

Ive added a thin white belt which didn't come with the dress but I felt it made the dress slightly more Jackie O because that's how I felt, all I needed was a pillbox hat. Very Betty Draper.
As a summer dress this sugary sweet shade is perfect but I also think coupled with a cardigan and tights it will be brilliant for when it gets colder. It already feels like a classic wardrobe staple and I think I will get loads of wear out of it.

Ive worn a matching flower in my hair and am wearing lipstick shade "Lilly" by Rimmel which matches the dress perfectly.

Sure I look all boob but who cares when the dress is this cute
As its a round high neck it does make me look very booby. I do tend to prefer sweetheart necklines as they are more flattering but life's too short to not buy a cute dress because it emphasises that you have big bangers.
Whatever you choose to wear his summer (and looking out the window as I write it might be a parka) embrace your plus size curves with well fitting gorgeous clothes which make you feel like a million dollars.
