The Tea With Tom Girls |
Last week myself and Lilly were booked as hair stylists and make up artists on a fantastic shoot.
Sue Taylor and Cheryl Rossiter who were the brains (and beauty) behind the wonderful Sugar Junction cafe in Manchester are launching a brand new vintage events company called Tea With Tom and are busy creating beautiful brand images to illustrate the wonderful packages they offer.
The theme behind the shoot we worked on was 1920's decadence with a darker edge. As a make up artist this was just music to my ears and I spent some very happy hours researching looks and ideas.

The location of the shoot was the simply gorgeous Frog Flowers in Manchester's Northern quarter. This florists is just something else. David the very charismatic owner is such an artist and his premises are like a floral wonderland.
Just some of the make up we used |
We created pale complexions using a mix of Estee Lauder double wear, Bobbi brown and Mac studio fix.
Lips were arched and bowed with Limecrimes vevetine in Red Velvet.
For hair we roller set the models with longer hair and for those with shorter hair we used our trusty Lock n rolls. These are discontinued now but you can always get them on ebay and they are perfect for creating the look of finger waved/pin curled hair. The finished photographs are not out yet but I will be sure to share them when they are. In the meantime enjoys the snaps I took on my phone.

For this hairstyle I roller set the hair then piled it all up and pulled out strands for a slightly wild look |

It was such an amazing photoshoot to be involved with. I'm sure Tea with Tom will be just as successful as Sugar Junction. If you are looking for something really special for your big event or wedding be sure to give them a call.
