Insisting Its Spring OOTD

Winter be gone!
I am officially over winter. So much so that I've decided unless there is snow on the ground I am breaking out the spring colours and ditching the black tights.
Impractical maybe but sometimes you just have to take a stand and as we have had a dribble of sun and a few dry days I can just about get away with it.
I shared this misson with Simply be and they have very kindly let me choose  a few frocks to get me started and here is the first one.
Ive cinched in the waist with a cardigan

This bow print dress is giving off a fabulous 1940's vibe to me.The blue colour and delicate white bow print hits just the right note and its really fresh and crisp looking. I usually avoid anything with a bow on the front or wide collar like the plague but because the neck is low its actually working despite my huge bangers.

Not usually  a fan of a wide collar but think I can get away with this
J'adore the blue colour of this frock

Without being too pedestrian I love this dress as its just so comfortable. Here I'm just about to go and perform make up duties on twelve very excitable hens and I don't feel too restricted but I still have a nipped in waist.
The dress also features pockets which are always welcome. I love all the fab catalogue style poses you can pull when you have pockets in a frock (I know I really must get out more)

Love having dress pockets

As promised Ive opted for bare legs and yes I was absolutely freezing but I wont be swayed not even by a cold Merseyside wind.
On my feet I have the prettiest shoes in the world (fact) which are Demon Donkey pumps by Iron Fist (via Dolly mixture clothing)
Iron Fist Pink Pumps

Ive chucked in a victory roll and put my hair up in what I like to call  a half beehive (and yes I realise I do sound like Miranda's mother when I say that)
I'm wearing a blue cardigan which is so old its slightly rotting which is by Monsoon and on my wrist I have a blue Shamballa bracelet by Cutey.

Lipstick is Revlon's Fire and ice, eyeshadow is Macs matte blanc, omega and courdury. Foundation is Bourgeois 123 perfect in shade vanilla clair which I am loving at the moment.

Never let your size or shape stop you from loving fashion and enjoying clothes to the max. If you "own" your style and stop feeling apologetic because you are plus size the world of clothes really starts to open up and its a wonderful thing. So get some sass to go with your fat ass!
