Hot Pink And Smiths Green OOTD

Pink and green should always be seen.
Even though its freezing today has seen a rare appearance from the sun. This has made me feel quite giddy and to celebrate I thought I would wear my favourite tee shirt by my favourite band.
My Smiths "The Queen is dead" tee has been with me through a lot. its faded, its bobbly but I love it. The fact that this cardigan by Primark matches it perfectly means I can wear it even when its been snowing the day before.
Take me Mozza I'm yours
I'm calling this student chic
As you know I love to break the plus size fashion rules and when you are more apple than hour glass layering could look lumpy but here Ive worn a bright pink Matalan dress underneath the tee shirt and rather than knot the cardigan at the waist (my usual preference) Ive left it long to balance out the shape.
Floaty dress, soft old tee shirt-it shouldn't work but it does

As its still freezing Ive teamed the outfit with black leggings, shocking pink thermal socks and my leopard print TUK brothel creepers.

As my outfit is quite studenty Ive settled for a semi beehive, pink headscarf and a slick of Barry Ms bright pink lip paint, who says leggings and an old tee shirt cant be glam!

Remember feeling good and looking great has nothing to do with dress size and everything to do with attitude.Never wait to be a certain weight to start enjoying clothes and never reject anything thinking it wont suit your shape. Try it on-you may be surprised.

  2. Very nice, I have always liked green and pink together, in fact my first lounge was green and pink, but we called it 'peppermint and blush lol).
