Hot Pink Outfit In The Snow

Don't eat the yellow snow
After a week of enviously seeing everyones twitter and facebook feeds fill up with pictures of snow the Wirral finally got some of its own. For myself I can take or leave the white cold stuff but my little girl was almost hysterical when it finally hit and its impossible not to get caught up in the excitement.

I also had a whole weekend off for a change, no wedding makeup booking, no Pamperbox event, its been blissful and as you can imagine I have not wanted to get too tarted up.

So this outfit was my official slob out gear. I'm still trying to utilise clothes I already own to try and curb my constant clothes buying and this mint green summer dress which I brought from Dorothy Perkins a few seasons ago is super comfy (I now realise it needed an iron but hey I will leave being perfect to others)

Ive worn it with a cardigan which I brought from Monsoon years ago, some leggings by Evans and my TUK brothel creepers.

Ice cream colours for icy conditions

I'm trying to give my fringe a rest from the constant victory rolling and quiff abuse it goes through so am wearing it down a few days a week. Its strange not having the hair height but tying this pink bandanna into a bow means I still feel quite rockabilly chic.
wearing my fringe au natural-well it is the weekend

My necklace is by the tremendous Bete Noir and I'm wearing Hello kitty lipstick in shade "Urban Punk" which I brought on a whim from Superdrug last week. I'm actually loving the colour and the fact that the lid has a cats head on.
hello Kitty Lippy and a crumpled dress-I'm so classy
I know in winter we are encouraged to wear greys, browns and black but wearing hot pink and mint green suits my mood of weekend fun. its a shame its over so fast!
Remember feeling good and looking great has nothing to do with dress size and everything to do with attitude.Never wait to be a certain weight to start enjoying clothes and never reject anything thinking it wont suit your shape. Try it on-you may be surprised.
