Photoshoots, School Trips, Downton Abbey hair and Christmas Trees

Its been a busy week!
Some weeks  it seems I do little except sit around in my Pj’s and check my twitter feed. I could blog about this but I’m not sure you would find it particularly riveting. Occasionally though I have quite a full exciting schedule and as last week was particularly jam packed thought I would run through one of the busiest and most interesting seven days I’ve had in ages.

Saturday
1920's pamperbox action

It’s a busy time for  Vintage Pamperbox bookings and today is a 1920’s inspired event in Chester. It was lovely showing a group of ladies (in this instance it was hen party) how to do contemporary takes on Jazz baby style.

Alex the beautiful bride to be

They were all loving our rolled under flapper hairstyle and there were lots of cry’s of “ooh I look very Downton Abbey”

Sunday

Getting our burly on with Ginger and Mickey at the NWBS

I blogged about this last week but I was thrilled to be asked to speek at the Northwest burlesque society. I chatted about portfolio careers and how much I enjoy blogging. Lilly Von Pink came with me and it was cool to meet the great and the good of the North west Burly scene.

Monday
Team Jacob or Team Edward?

As I know I’m out of the office for most of the week I spend today doing admin, answering emails and planning some blog posts. Me and Mister Bee also snuck out for a mid afternoon viewing of the new twilight movie.
Stop eatting haribo and get some work done
Don’t you just love going to the cinema in the day? It’s so empty and feels like you are playing truant.I know some people are a bit sneary about Twilight but in my world if it has vampires and warewolves in, its all good baby!
I also caught up on a few of my fave blogs and was chuffed to see I was featured on the Simply be blog-yeah!

Vivi Victory dispaying her juicy wares

The gorgeous Vivi Victory who is a food writer and has her own blog came to BB Towers for a photo shoot with Mr Bee. She needed some promo pictures for her new feature in Vintage Life magazine so it was very exciting.

We heart Vivi

I performed make up duties whilst Lilly roller set her hair. She looked absolutely gorgeous and we got to make a great stew from all the vegetable props that were left over.Vivi was an absolute dollychops. Watch out for her, I reckon she is the next Nigella.

Wednesday
Spending time with Baba Bee

Today I’m wearing my mummy hat and accompanied my daughter’s class to an all day Christmas themed event at another school. We wrote letters to Santa, made Christmas cards and learnt all about the stars the three wise men followed. Great day and I’m now starting to feel very festive.

Thursday
The beautiful finale of the 5 Star Fashion show

Today was a bit of a double bubble. We had a promotional shoot for the Vintage Pamperbox (we have some very exciting new themed events coming up in 2013 so did some photos for them) and were also booked as make up artists for a fashion show at the very beautiful Hillbark Hotel by a company called Opulence Bride.

It was such a twinkly event and all the models looked so beautiful. All money raised went to the Red Cross so was nice to do our bit for charity too.

Friday
Sarah one of our happy Killer Curves Tee shirt customers

Orders for my Killer Curves tee shirts are going through the roof so I spend today parcelling up tee shirts to be sent all over the world and also ordering more as our initial order has completely sold out! I’m loving it when girls send me pics of themselves wearing them. It’s such a personal design and the fact that others like it too is very meaningful. One lady called Lisa has even customised her with coloured gems.

Saturday

I’ve been looking forward to this event for months. My Christmas Cracker Pin up event is finally here. I’m going to blog about this in more detail but here is a quick shot of all our gorgeous girls. It was such a great day. I showed all the ladies how to do a Smokey glitter eye and we all listened to Christmas songs, drank mulled wine and of course Mr Bee took some awesome photos.

Sunday
We have our tree!

Finally a day of rest and after a week of fashion shows, photo shoots and work, work, work its quality time with the brown eyed crew.
Decked in its Festive finery

Today we picked our Christmas tree and spent a very happy afternoon decorating it.
Phew hoping next week is back to PJs and twitter.
