My Horror Gore Hottie Photo Shoot

Last week I undertook  one of the most exciting photo shoots Ive ever done.
My company the Vintage pamperbox has recently launched a new package which we are calling "Horror Gore Hottie" and my lovely husband Nick Beedles photographed a set of promotional pictures to help us bang the drum about this and put some glam into gore.

The Horror Gore Hottie package works in exactly the same way as our usual pamper days. We teach a workshop in hair and make up, style each attendee and then take some seriously hot photos inspired by 1950's cheesecake. The twist is that that the make up looks we are teaching are "Mexican Sugar skulls" "Corpse bride" "Sexy vamp" "Zombie Monroe" and "Creepy clown"  Yes its pin up but with a definite Gothic flavour.

As make up artists planning the looks we are going to teach on the workshops and use for the photo shoot was such a joy. Myself and Lilly have spent many a happy afternoon working out the best way to make zombie wounds, flaking scabs and deathly complexions.

Our raison d etre was always that it would be the ultimate in glamorous horror. Gore yes but with darkly sexy undertones.
The shoot attracted some amazing sponsors with Smiffys providing the make up, Sirens and Starlets and Sohos dressing us in some quite gorgeous frocks, hair pieces by Wonderland wigs and jewellery by Razorblade Mermaid and The Glitter Kitty.

As well as myself and Lilly acting as models we also enlisted the help of the rather fabulous Cole Pountney,Phoenix Snow and Kitty Liquor. All of whom were an absolute pleasure to work with and made our sketches and ideas come to life in a creepily gorgeous way.
