Burberry Accents With A LBD

Today I'm going out for lunch with one of my oldest friends Rachel and as we are going to a rather swanky restaurant Ive worn this dress which never fails to make me feel stylish.

Feeling swish in my Primark cast off

 Its from Primark and was actually given to me by my friend Lena. It fits me like a glove and has the most fantastic shape.

Ive nipped it in at the waist with a wide belt I got last year from Evans and Ive matched it with my black and red Minnie mouse shoes.
My handbag and headscarf are both by Burberry  and Ive had them for years. I treated myself to this bag when I got a job working for the TV a Film department at Sony ten years ago.I'd had my eye on it for ages and me and Mr Bee were having a weekend break in Dublin and there it was in the windows of Browns department store calling my name.

My Burberry Tote bag-an oldie but agoldie

Obviously the Burberry check did get slightly hijacked over the last few years and was largely associated with chavs wearing fakes but its a classic British design and I refuse to let that temporary blip  stop me enjoying it.

Matching Burberry headscarf-a British classic, much like myself

My headband is actually a silk Burberry neck scarf which I brought the following year whilst waiting to get a flight to LA. Its lovely when items of clothes or accessories bring back memories and these do.

My ring is by Belindas Prettys. I adore the slightly art deco feel of the black and crystal cats head and as Im a bit of  a crazy cat lady its all working.

Ive gone for rather full hair and am wearing Maybellines Superstay 10 hour tint gloss in Ruby on my lips.My eye make up is from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette in shades foxy, busted and blackout.

Lead me to the cake

I'm ready to be a lady who lunches and have a good old catch up with my lovely friend.
