How To Contour Using Blusher

Learning how to contour your face using blusher is such a nifty trick and a real example of where you can use make up to change your appearance quite considerably. With a quick sweep of a blusher brush you can give the illusion of higher cheekbones,  a thinner face and glowing good health, whats not to love?
Here is a quick tutorial I have put together showing how I do mine.

For those of you who can't view videos here is a photo step by step.

You will need
I used
A matte bronzer
A rose coloured blush
A highlighter cream
2 x blusher brushes
1 x foundation brush

Step One
Take your bronzer and sweep it in a curve from the bottom of your cheek following the hollow of your cheekbone up until your hairline. I take this up to the hairline so it doesn't abruptly stop.

Step Two
Take your blusher and sweep it on the apples of your cheeks. If you smile widely you will see where these pads are. This will add colour and make your make up look more contoured and finished.

Step Three
Take your foundation brush and blend in any hard lines and soften the contour edges.

Step Four
Take your highlighter and dot 3-4 spots on the highest part of your cheekbones. This will give the illusion of higher cheekbones and make the light bounce off at the most angular part of your face.

Step Five
Easy peasy face contouring!
