Curvy Gal Outfit: Hawaiian Hottie

Getting my summer brights on

This week I dipped my toe into the Asos Curve water for the first time. This may seem crazy as Ive heard so much good stuff about the brand and quite a few very stylish plus sized bloggers I follow reguarly post up outfits wearing ASOS looking amazing but until now I had never really paid them much attention.
The halter neck and nipped in waist gives this dress a nice 1950's feel.

All this changed when I spied this rather fabulous hawaiin style print dress in their latest sale. I love a loud print for summer and with it halter neck and nipped in waist it has enough of a 1950's sensibility to work really well with my look.

One day the sun will shine and match the summer theme of my outfit

As luck would have it I already owned a Monsoon cardigan which matched the purple of the flowers in the dress perfectly. You will already have seen my gorgeous necklace form Bow and crossbones which I adore and plan on wearing lots this summer.

I had my hair freshly coloured the other day and wanted to show off my shiny new blond streak so its all about the victory roll.Ive piled the rest of my hair up in a big bun.
Fab Carmen Miranda neclace check, Big hair check.

My shoes are a lovely pair of slightly 1940's inspired gold peep toe wedge sandles by Clarks.
Arched brows and shocking pink lips-My summer staple

My eyemake up is from my new Urban Decay Naked2 pallete which Im loving. Ive used shades, booty call, busted and YDK. My eyeliner is the Wink eyeliner pen from Barry M and lipstick is Rose Sorbet by Rimmel

Remember feeling good and looking great has nothing to do with dress size and everything to do with attitude.Never wait to be a certain weight to start enjoying clothes and never reject anything thinking it wont suit your shape. Try it on-you may be surprised.
