  1. I love seeing how other people do their eyeliner! I've never tried doing it thin at first then building up but I might try now because I sometimes find they're uneven and it irritates me.
I struggle finding an eyeliner pen that I really like. Like you said they seem to dry out so quickly and I find I'm having to drag it across my eye to get the colour out and then it goes all wrinkly and horrible.
Count me in for giveaway please! I've done the necessary bits :) xx

  4. I think I'll be heading to the shops this week to pick up one of these wink eyeliners, I've tried the Avon one which is too grey and not black, the collection 2000 which was lovely and black and lasted well until the slightest hint of damp and then it ran and smudged everywhere! At the moment I'm using the MUA waterproof liquid eyeliner which is very good but I do prefer a pen rather than a brush.

  17. I have two bobby dazzlers at home in the shape of a 4 year old and a 1 year old. They both love mud and fighting baddies and we spend a LOT of time outside getting messy. Still, I'm not one for leaving the house without a flick of red lippy and my black wings. For a curvy gal with a 50s heart and soul anything which makes getting ready quicker is a plus for me and this eyeliner hits the spot! Who says you can't have glamour and superpowers - with two boys to keep up Wonderwoman is my daily inspiration!!

Please do a photoshoot of different era's! That would be amazing! Sending lots of love. Please enter me into your comp. ta x x x

  22. Betty Bee, you are inspiring, I love your blog and read every day. As a plus size girl, I have realized that women don't have to be skinny to be beautiful, and actually curves are very appealling. My wonderful fiance has been telling me this, however I feel seeing other ladies like myself is a little more convincing. Keep up the lovely blog!! I am new to Barry M cosmetics, I don't think they are sold in USA. I was on the website the other day, looks like great products.

  23. I haven't tried doing the french flick that way before but it looks like a good technique I will have to try. When I was at college (all those years ago.. ahem...) I wore liquid eyeliner every day (and still made the 8am bus!) - it just takes practice, a habit I should get back into!
