Sunshine Outfit: Bumble Bee Styling

They call me mellow yellow

Today I'm off to meet my lovely friends Rachel and Sarah,part of my group of friends who we call The yayas after the book Divine Secrets of the Ya-ya Sisterhood (about a group of southern belles who are friends for life)

We all read it  whilst working at the coalface of Granada TV and its stuck all these years later

As the sun has made the briefest of appearances I thought I would wear a recent purchase from Matalan. 

Matalan seems to be having  a fashion "moment" For a long time I only shopped there for homewares or the odd thing for Baba Bee so  I surprised myself the other day by buying this dress and a fab bright pink shift dress.

Ive teamed it with a cardigan from Warehouse and a pair of leggings as although the sun is shining its still quite chilly. My shoes are My hello Kitty crocs.



Yelloe and black Im a bumble bee not Betty Bee

I realised once I was dressed that I did slightly resemble a bumble bee but I can live with that.

Yellow is such a cheerful colour and wearing this has made me feel all kinds of summery.

Ive rolled my fringe under in a Bettie Page styley and put in a high pony tail. I'm still loving my Rimmel Lilly Pink lipstick and have applied strong french flicks. I'm ready to go for a few hours of girly chat, good food and Yaya time.
