Bettys Five For Friday

Welcome to my first "Five For Friday" blog post. Once a week I will do a round up of whats been catching my eye, making my heart beat faster and my purse feel lighter.

#1
A Zombie Ate My Cupcake Kit
Just in time for Halloween A Zombie ate my cupcake promises to help you make some "killer" cupcakes.
A Zombie ate my cupcake kit
The kit includes a book of 25 recipes, a tombstone cookie cutter, a horn mould and two sculpting tools.

Author Lily Vanilli shows you how to work with natural ingredients and cake-decorating tools to create amazing edible decorations - from chocolate devil's horns to a cupcake graveyard with gingerbread tombstones.
eyeball cupcake anyone?
Why not give guests a shock with the revoltingly realistic Marzipan Beetles, or add a crunch to your desserts with the Morbid Meringue Bones, dipped in raspberry blood sauce? I think this looks wonderful. Definitely considering getting it for my Halloween party.

#2
The Dita Von Teese Muse Collection.

This week saw the announcement that  Dita Von Teese will be designing a dress collection for Australian store David Jones. Called "Muse"
Simply stunning
The launch capsule collection features five fabulous pieces, including vintage-inspired dresses and a tulle-layered trench coat.
Each dress includes couture detailing and grosgrain ribbon that cinches the waist to create a svelte feminine silhouette for which Dita is so renowned. It all looks fabulous and even comes in sizes 8 to 20. The only sad news is that its only available in Australia. Should we start an on-line petition?

#3 Bright pink skull print cosmetic purse by Floozie Frost French

Love this purse
As its almost Halloween I can indulge my inner goth and this super cute purse by Frost French is a steal at eight quid available at Debenhams.
