Event Organisers: Vintage Make up in Liverpool

Well its been a while since I last did my blog so thought I should update. So much to tell you where to begin. Probably the thing keeping me the most busy has been my company The Vintage Pamper Box www.Vintagepamperbox.com The Pamper Box which I run with my lovely freind Lilly Von Pink puts on events for hen parties, corporate events, birthdays, any kind of occasion.  Launched last April the fifties inspired events include a vintage hair and make up class, burlesque lesson and cheese cake inspired photo shoot and seem to have totally caught the imagination of  women across Liverpool. Bookings for both private parties and the monthly workshops have been flooding in and it seems Merseyside is loving the sweet old-fashioned fun they offer. Its even attracted some press and we were recently featured in the Liverpool Echo as part of Women entrepreneur week which was fantastic

Me in the Liverpool Echo talking about the Pamper Box with Lilly
I think part of the attraction is that in such tough economic times some simple glamour is an instant cheer up. Our events are all about making women feel amazing about themselves, for a few hours we can leave our responsibilities behind and embrace some silver screen glamour. The events are so popular we often invite the fabulous Lena Stobe to help with the hair. Lena is a little German pocket rocket who is amazing at vintage hair styling (she is also a little whizz at home made cakes ha ha) Its helped us so much especially when we have 20 plus ladies queuing up for victory rolls and Veronica Lake waves
What is particuarly lovely about the Vintage Pamper Box is the people we meet. We were recently asked to put on a series of pamper days for the fabulous burlesque event The Martini Lounge which has now taken residency in the breath taking St Georges hall. These were such fun workshops where we met the amazing American Burlesque Bump & Grind legend Kitten De Ville and possibly the most adorable woman on the planet Beeby Rose a Dutch Goddess both of whom taught burlesque to our lovely ladies as part of our event.

We also provided our portable pamper booth for the Unilever Winter ball. We seem to be attracting more and more event bookings as its such a lovely treat for your guests, hair and make up pampering for the ladies, show shines and hot towels for the gents, perfect for ensuring your guests feel fresh and glamerous all through the evening. Hen bookings are also going through the roof it seems women are turning away from pink cowboy hats and L plates and are embracing someting altogther more sassy as an alternative hen event. Bravo!
